From Brittney in Missouri:
It was Christmas morning, year 2000. I was 6 years old and all I wanted for christmas was one of those Furby toys (they were real popular then.) After opening my last present, I then realized that I didn’t get the furby toy, and began to get very upset. While everyone was talking, I was sadly playing with my present (dwelling over the furby toy). My mother exused herself to get a glass of water, and walked down the hall to the kitchen. I soon heard the back door begin to open. ( I was 6 years old so very noisy) I got up from the coach to see who was at my back door. But before I could even take a step in comes (running) a little bitty Shih-Tzu puppy (8-weeks old). I just about died, I began to scream, and cry instantly. When it came time to give him a name, before anyone could say anything I shouted FURBY! So even though I didn’t get the furby toy that christmas….I got a REAL Furby Whom I love with all my heart!!
